CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – Christmas is approaching in the next couple of days, and here’s a reminder of events happening over the holiday weekend.
If you’re interested in an interactive experience, Friday is the last day to experience Holy City Christmas at Holy City Brewing. Tour Santa’s House and Toy Workshop, where you can meet the North Pole elves, take plenty of photos and enjoy free treats. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Santa and enter immersive rooms including Mrs. Claus’s story time. You can click here to purchase tickets, and if your child is 2 years old or younger, no tickets are required.
The Holiday Festival of Lights ends on December 31st, giving you one more week to enjoy this festive experience. The Holiday Festival of Lights will be held at James Island County Park from 5:30 to 10 p.m
If you’d like to attend Palmetto’s Workshop, Winter Wonderland and more, you can click here to purchase tickets and view additional activities the festival has to offer. The lights will be open on Christmas Eve and every Christmas Day, and tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
This weekend you can ice skate at Follyday Park’s Ice Skating Folly Beach. Enjoy Follyday Park, where you can ice skate by the beach. Tickets are $10 per person for 30 minutes of skating, including skate rental. There will also be a 20-foot tree light show, fire pits and holiday treats. Jesus’ birthday party is planned for Christmas. The event will not be held at the Ciudadela stadium this year but will still be held in five districts. Volunteer to help distribute gifts, food, blankets and more. Volunteers will arrive downtown at 9 am.
