Dialog conducts first successful mmWave 5G trial in South Asia | Jobs Reply


Dialog Axiata Group, the first telecom service provider in the South Asia region to demonstrate 5G capabilities in 2018, announced the successful trial of mmWave 5G for the first time in South Asia through its wholly owned subsidiary Dialog Broadband Networks (Pvt) Ltd. famous.

Dialog achieved 5G download speeds in excess of 4Gbps in non-standalone mode (NSA) with mmwave, achieving significantly higher throughputs than current standards. mmWave solutions operate in high-frequency ranges and provide ultra-capacity over short distances, enabling greater bandwidth and faster uplinks and downlinks, allowing users to take full advantage of 5G. Deploying mmWave technology will improve fixed-line broadband performance and enable low-latency industrial applications including industrial automation, healthcare, intelligent transportation systems and virtual reality.
