2023 will see a number of notable debuts in the seven-seater luxury segment, all of which are listed below.

Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Kia, and MG Motor are among the automakers aiming to introduce new three-row vehicles in the Indian market by 2023 in an effort to capitalize on the expanding trend. Since the 2023 Auto Expo in January will set the tone for the rest of the year, we should expect a lot of work to begin now. Following are some notable seven-seater launches:

Toyota Innova Hicross

Exact rates for the Innova Hicross, which debuted last month, will be revealed in January. The premium MPV is available as a seven- or eight-seater, with prices starting from Rs. 22 lakhs and reached a maximum of Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). The exterior of the new generation Innova has been completely revamped with powerful SUV-like styling.

The interior has more modern amenities and innovations than the Innova Crysta, such as a dual-pane sunroof, an electronic tailgate, middle row seats with ottoman function, a large touchscreen infotainment system, ADAS technology.

It is built on the modular TNGA-C chassis and is powered by a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine or a powerful hybrid petrol engine.

MG Hector plus facelift

The modified Hector midsize SUV from MG Motor will go on sale in January 2023 It will have a new front grille and an interior with a larger touchscreen infotainment system with additional connectivity options. We expect the three-row Hector Plus to undergo similar improvements soon.

The new generation Kia Carnival

Kia India plans to unveil the all-new generation Carnival sometime next year and the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida could serve as the car’s local market premiere. Although not officially confirmed. We think this will have an impact as the current global model is more technologically sophisticated on the inside, given the success of the previous model and the positive response to premium MPVs.

Toyota Innova Crysta has been updated

The Innova Crysta will continue to serve diesel fans, and it is likely to return in an improved form in the coming months. For the first time in over six years of sales, the MPV may also get a CNG version.

Maruti Innova derivative

According to reports, the flagship Maruti Suzuki MPV, which will be based on the Innova HiCross and will follow the same path as the crossover between the Grand Vitara and the Urban Cruiser Highrider, will debut in the second half of 2023. It will sit at the top. XL6 and accessible only at high-end Nexa network stores.
