Fargo library hosts events for kids and families over holiday break – InForum | Jobs Reply

FARGO – If your kids are looking for something to do during the holiday break, the Fargo Public Library has a variety of events for kids and families to enjoy during their time off from school.

On Tuesday, children can bring their favorite stuffed animals to the Main Library at 10:00am or to the Carlson Library at 2:00pm for a special story time. Stuffed animals will have an adventure in the library, with scheduled pickup at 10:00 a.m. at the Main Library and at 2:00 p.m. at the Carlson Library. Before they leave, kids can make a craft to celebrate the special sleepover occasion, according to a press release.

On Thursday, the library will host a Mary Poppins Sing Along at 2 p.m., featuring “Mary Poppins” as well as crafts and treats and two special guests.

On Thursday at 6 p.m., kids and families can test their knowledge at the Winter Wonderland Family Trivia Night at the Main Library. Prizes will be awarded and snacks will be served, according to the release. Pre-registration is required.

On Friday, kids 12 and under are invited to the annual LEGO Mania Design Contest from 2-4pm at the Main Library. Creations can be made at home and taken to the library for judging, works will be on display from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Winners will be announced at 3:45 pm and prizes will be awarded. Pre-registration is required.

All events are free and open to the public. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
