Events in the Loveland area seem to be slowing down as Christmas approaches. Here are the offers until December 23rd.


Face Vocal Band

Acoustic musicians Face Vocal Band will perform on Tuesday, December 20th at 7:30 pm at the Rialto Theater Center, 228 E. Fourth St.

Holiday Movies

Three holiday movies will be shown at the Rialto Theater, 228 E. Fourth St., in the days leading up to Christmas Eve.

“Love Actually” will air on Wednesday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. It is rated R.

“The Polar Express” will be on Thursday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. It is rated PG.

The 1954 classic “White Christmas” will be shown on Friday, December 23 at 7:00 p.m. Not rated.

Solstice celebration

Intent’s Winter Solstice Celebration will be held on Friday, December 23rd at 7pm at Black and Blues Music and Brews, 423 N. Cleveland Ave.

The free event is an evening intended to honor the winter solstice and the sustainability of everything around us and to create space for the seeds of the next great spring planting.

Moonstruck Melodies will feature original stories, poems and songs to help summon the energy of intention and celebrate the journey of the seasons.

Mannheim Steamroller

See a Mannheim Steamroller Christmas at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.

Grammy Award winner Chip Davis has created a show of Mannheim Steamroller Christmas classics with a selection of compositions from his “Fresh Aire” series.

Upcycled holidays

The Upcycled Holiday event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Thursday, Dec. 19-22 at the Larimer County Garbage Garage Education Center, 5887 S. Taft Hill Road.

Bring the whole family out for some seasonal fun and create festive reindeer, Pinterest-worthy Christmas trees and memorable decorations, all from reused and recycled materials.

All items created will be a souvenir to take home.
