iQOO 11 Pro will not launch alongside iQOO 11 5G in India on January 10th
On December 8th, the iQOO 11 series debuted in China after being delayed by a few days. The lineup includes two models – the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro. Replacing the iQOO 10 series, these phones offer some major upgrades in terms of hardware specs. The iQOO 11 5G smartphone is scheduled to debut in India on January 10th. iQOO has officially announced its arrival, but it seems that the Pro model will not come. According to iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya, the iQOO 11 Pro will not launch on January 10 alongside the vanilla model. There are currently no concrete plans, although the phone may launch at a later date.
The iQOO 11 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a Vivo V2 imaging chip. According to the iQOO manager, it will be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in India. This suggests that the Xiaomi 13, which also packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, will be launched in India at a later date.

iQOO 11 Specifications, Features

The iQOO 11 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO 4.0 panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, a variable refresh rate of 1-120 Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a DCI-P3 color space , HDR10+ support, 1440 Hz PWM dimming and up to 1800 nits peak brightness. The device packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC along with an Adreno GPU, up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The iQOO flagship comes with a custom OriginOS skin based on Android 13. It’s powered by a 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 120W fast charging.
The iQOO 11 has three cameras on the rear: a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter with f/2.2 aperture and one 13 MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom and f/2.46 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, the flagship houses a 16-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
The iQOO 11 features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, an infrared sensor, dual speakers, USB Type-C audio and Hi-Fi audio. For connectivity, it supports 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11, NFC, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/GLONASS and a USB Type-C port.
