Macomb County Sleigh at Holiday Festivities! With so many events happening in the region, we say it’s time to bundle up and embrace the cold.

From holiday markets to 5,000 runs to tree lighting events around every corner, there’s a holiday activity for everyone to enjoy!

Holiday Market at the Anton Art Center

Shop small, shop local! Anton Art Center’s annual Holiday Market is the perfect opportunity to support artists and find unique gifts for your family and friends.

The market is free and open to the public and runs from November 17th to December 23rd with special events throughout the season.

Tree Lighting Celebration at Partridge Creek Mall

Partridge Creek Mall will hold its annual tree lighting ceremony on Sunday, November 20th to officially kick off the holiday season!

The event will feature face painters, cider and donuts, a photo booth, and entertainment including the Snow Sisters, the Motown Museum’s Hitsville Next Singers, Lazer Beatz Drum Line, and Break Dancing Elves! Santa and Mrs. There will also be special appearances by Claus, as well as a center court tree lighting!

The first 2,500 children under the age of 10 will receive a lighted stick to help light the shopping Santa tree.

13. Jingle Bell 5k Run

Channel your holiday cheer into the 13thth Annual Jingle Bell 5k Run Sunday, December 18th at River Bends Park.

Registration and entry day will open at 7:30 am. Early packet pickup and registration will also be available on Saturday, December 17th.

A Ford House Christmas

Travel back in time and spend the holiday season with the Ford family. Enjoy a lighted walk home for a vacation in a historic home. Continue the festivities at the Visitor Center, where you’ll take part in holiday crafts and entertainment.

Tours will run from November 18th to December 30th for $18 for adult members, $20 for non-member adults and $9 for children, $12 for non-member children.

Macomb Township Holiday Tree Lighting & Afterglow

Welcome the holiday season with Macomb Townships annual holiday lighting on Friday, December 2nd. This free event begins outside with caroling, Santa’s arrival and holiday lighting.

You can also enjoy refreshments, crafts, music, live reindeer, photos with Santa and gifts inside the Recreation Center.

Bay-Rama Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

The New Baltimore Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on December 5th at the intersection of Alfred and Washington at the New Baltimore Civic Club with candy, refreshments and photos with Santa!

The event starts at 6:45pm with a sing-along from Anchor Bay Middle School North!

Holiday Lights on the Farm

Wolcott Mill Metropark, Farm Center

Get into the holiday spirit at Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center. Stroll through the farm and enjoy traditional holiday decorations and thousands of twinkling lights. Write letters to Santa at the letter writing station and visit him in the dairy barn workshop. Enjoy holiday music while visiting the resident animals and take a tractor-drawn wagon ride through the farm fields to view holiday light displays.

The event will take place on December 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, from 18:00 to 21:00.

Downtown Utica Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration and Fireworks

Memorial Park in Utica, MI

The City of Utica will be hosting the Downtown Utica Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration and Fireworks on Saturday, December 10th at 7:00pm, and it will be the City’s biggest and best yet!

Event highlights include Fox 2 Detroit’s Lori Pinson as Master of Ceremonies, WYCD 99.5 Morning Crew’s Rachel and Grunwald as special guests, and a large-scale fireworks display!

Blake’s Holiday Extravaganza

Kick off the holidays with a festive tree lighting On Saturday, November 19, Blake’s Farm lights its tree for the holiday season. In the spirit of the season, guests are invited to decorate a special Giving Tree to benefit Rainbow Connection.

The event runs through Sunday, Nov. 2, where guests can enjoy carolers and live music, visit with live reindeer, take horse-drawn carriage rides, see Santa on a train ride, and shop for unique gifts at Artisan. Market, holiday crafts for kids and much more.
