New Year’s Eve parties are returning in full swing to the Detroit metro area after the COVID-19 pandemic put the festivities on hold for the past two years.
Events include a Mardi Gras themed party, ax throwing bar hosted by Legendary Ax and HUSH Haunted Attraction.
“The party will take place in HUSH Haunted Attraction’s hyper-realistic ‘mini’ Bourbon Street, with a 2-story facade, balconies and realistic architecture and decor,” said Nathan Polanco of Legendary 2023 NYE Bash.
Costumes are encouraged for the event, with masks and bead necklaces available for purchase, Polanco said.
General admission tickets include a cash bar, DJ and live entertainment, and a midnight snack station featuring New Orleans-inspired food.
For those looking to spend a little extra, a ‘party pass’ gives guests access to an arcade-style arcade that includes four free drink tickets from 8pm to 10pm.
“We have a beautiful new ax throwing facility that Party Pass and VIP holders can access and enjoy,” said Polanco. “Axing is an extra, so for a small fee, you get paid.
In addition to trying their hand at ax throwing, guests seeking a VIP experience are invited to take part in a guided bar crawl through three unique bar experiences.
“(We have) a Voodoo Blues Bar, a Jungle Themed Bar and a Vampire Themed Bar. Between each bar is a fully immersive, themed attraction for guests to walk through, which is the Hush Haunted Attraction, which takes approximately 20-25 minutes to walk through,” said Polanco.
When the clock strikes midnight, all Legendary Bash guests will experience a balloon and confetti storm designed to ring in the New Year perfectly.
Legendary Ax and HUSH Haunted Attraction is located at 37550 Cherry Hill Road and tickets are available online for this limited admission event. General admission tickets are $45, a ‘Party Pass’ ticket is $75 and a VIP ticket is $150.
