Celebration of lights

“Celebration of Lights” 4-6pm at the Pahrump Cooperative Extension located at 1651 E. Calvada Blvd. Bring your camera to the festively decorated grounds that master gardeners have prepared for you and your family and preserve the family photos you take for generations to come. Enjoy cocoa or apple cider, cookies or some dehydrated apple rings. Holiday tree care tips will also be featured, as will special guest instructor ML Robinson and learn which evergreens will grow well in the Pahrump Valley. Open to the public, all ages welcome. Community Talent Show

The Pahrump Arts Council sponsors the Community Talent Show at the PVHS auditorium. All ages are welcome to come and enjoy music, dance and skits. All kinds of visual arts will also be on display. “It will be a holiday wonderland of sights and sounds.” The doors will open at 18:30 for the show; show starts at 7:00 PM Tickets $8 per person, or $25 for a family of 4. Veterans Pancake Breakfast

The Pahrump Elks Lodge, 2280 E. Basin Ave., will hold a Veterans Pancake Breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. The breakfast is free for veterans, but all are invited. They will also have clothing and toiletries for veterans. Additionally, new unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items are being collected at the tribe’s MC and Oasis Outreach lodge.

The Holiday Task Force will host its annual Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve at the NyE Communities Coalition campus, 1020 E. Wilson Road. It will be a seated dinner, from 11:00 to 14:00

The dinner is free and the whole community is invited to enjoy the meal.
